Following the success of our previous shoot, Brad, the owner of Caswell & Co, invited me back this summer to capture a fresh set of images for their website and social media. Building on our established style, the brief called for an even deeper dive into the authentic, everyday moments that define the shop.
We started early, photographing the space nice and clean before the doors opened – highlighting the precision, pristine details, and care that goes into setting up for the day. As the first clients arrived, my focus shifted to documenting the atmosphere as the day unfolded. Working agilely around the floor, I captured the transition from a quiet morning to a fast-paced, buzzing barbershop, focusing on the genuine interactions between the barbers and their customers.
The final collection of images perfectly contrasts the quiet anticipation of an empty shop with the vibrant reality of a busy summer shift. It’s a true, story-led continuation of the Caswell & Co brand -showcasing not just the trade, but the culture, energy, and community at its core.
