Lok – Hair Product Packaging Illustration

I was commissioned to create a bespoke illustration for a Stourbridge barber brand. The brief was simple: design something bold and memorable that would stand out against the sea of generic grooming products already on the market.

During our initial meeting, the team shared their vision for the name Lok and their idea of incorporating a hare to play on the phrase “lock of hair.” We explored concepts, styles and visual directions together, and I sketched live in the session to build the foundation of the final design.

From there, I developed the finished illustration. I wanted the piece to feel rich and distinctive, so I layered in textured patterns inspired by different hair types, giving the artwork depth, character and a crafted feel that aligned perfectly with the brand’s personality.
